ROAST PORK WITH ASIAN PEARS
(Serving Size 6-8)

INGREDIENTS
- Pork Tenderloin (or leg pork roast with skin on) 1.2 kg
- Salt 2 tbsp
- Chinese Five-Spice Powder (for marinade) 1 tsp
- Nashi Pears 3
- Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
- Royles Honey ¼ cup
- Chinese Five-Spice Powder (for sauce mix) 1 tsp
- Royles Oil 2 tbsp

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut pork skin at 1 cm intervals. Place pork in a roasting dish.

2. Mix salt and five-spice powder together. Rub over pork skin. Roast at 250C for 25 minutes. Reduce temperature to 190C and cook for a further of 50 minutes or until pork is cooked.

3. Meanwhile, peel pears and cut into quarters. Remove cores.

4. Mix Lee Kum Kee Premium Dark Soy Sauce, honey, five-spice powder and oil together in a bowl. Place pears in this, turning to coat.

5. Place pears in roasting dish with pork 30 minutes before the end of cooking time. Baste with honey mixture during cooking, turning frequently. Reduce any leftover marinade and use a sauce to serve with the pork if wished.
